My Divergence from Christianity Pt. 3

When I first wrote about my divergence, I never intended to create a series. It was supposed to be just one article explaining how and why I left “the faith”. But now…now it has grown into something I could have never imagined. So many people had questions, retorts, and the like that  there was a “need” for part 2; which was an elaboration of my experiences and journey. And recently, I ran across a wise soul that validated everything that I had come across, so much so that I had to do an interview with him. So here we are, Part 3. Before we get into this, I would like to clarify my intentions. I do not intend to “convert” anyone or “turn them away” from their beliefs. I just want to tell my story and present both sides of “the argument”. I was having a back and forth with an acquaintance on Facebook recently, and she was very offended by a post that I’d made in regard to religion. I do not intend to offend anyone. Your beliefs should stand up to common scrutiny, if it is what you truly believe in AND practice [keyword here is practice. The Bible says “faith without works is dead James 2:14-17 Verse]. Enjoy…
